1. When you use the verbs for the third-person with singular verbs or plural nouns , you should add -s to the verbs or nouns like these words
a.Verbs
play --> she / he /it /Mary plays ( Ex : She plays tennis )
Swim--> she / he /it /Lina swims ( Ex : Lina swims )
b.Nouns
A table--> tables
Ex: There is a table
There are two tables
2.If the verbs or nouns end with these letter ch ,sh, ss,s ,o ,x or z , you should add -es
a. Verbs :
wash --->she / he /it /Nancy washes ( Ex : He washes his face every morning)
go ---> she / he /it /Peter goes ( She often goes to London )
b.Nouns :
A watch --> 2 watches ( Ex : This is a watch)
Ex They are beautiful watches)
A potato --->3 potatoes
3.If the verbs or nouns end with a consonant like -y , you should replace y with i and add -es ( excepts - a toy --> toys or obey--> obeys)

b.Nouns : baby
a baby--> two babies (ex She has two babies)
4.If the nouns end with a consonant like -o , you can add -es /-s . Sometimes they add -es or sometimes they can add -s :
A. a photo --> two photos
a radio --> 3 radios
or more auto , solo, piano,
B. they add -es
do ---> he / he /it /Nancy does
go--> goes
Echo--> echoes
potato--> potatoes
tomato--> tomatoes
C. They can use -s and -es
